Terms and Conditions for Tandem Flights.

All Salève Vol Libre instructors have completed state-approved training, and their teaching methods are recognized nationally and internationally.

Registration for services provided by Salève Vol Libre instructors implies acceptance of the general terms and conditions of sale.

Conditions applicable to Tandem or Two-Seater Flights

Tandem or two-seater flights are considered an introduction to the sport of paragliding and therefore require a minimum level of instruction from the professional and active participation from the passenger.
Passengers must listen to and follow instructions, as the instructor cannot replace their participation, particularly during takeoff and landing.
Anyone can sign up for a tandem or two-seater flight, but only the school's instructors are authorized to decide whether or not the flight will take place for safety reasons, right up until the last moment.
For safety reasons, instructors may interrupt or shorten the activity at any time.
Only instructors are authorized to cancel a flight due to weather conditions.

1.1: INSURANCE

The instructors at Saleve Vol Libre have taken out professional insurance covering tandem flights. Passengers are not required to take out any special insurance. However, if passengers consider the cover provided by the professional's insurance to be insufficient, they may take out additional insurance for this activity.

1.2: REGISTRATION

Registration can be done by phone, mail, or email. At the time of registration, Salève Vol Libre reception staff will provide information about the activity, as well as the time and place of the meeting, the price, and payment methods.

1.3: REGULATIONS

1.3.1: For individuals, payment is made on site without prior deposit.
1.3.2: For groups of two or more people, registration must be accompanied by a deposit equivalent to half the price of the service, payable by bank transfer, cash, or check to Salève Vol Libre. Payment confirms the contract. The balance is payable on the day of the service.

1.4: WITHDRAWAL

Services are reserved for fixed dates. As a result, the 7-day withdrawal period for distance sales provided for in Article L121-20 of the Consumer Code does not apply pursuant to Article L121-20-4 of the same code. In the case of sales at reception, no withdrawal period applies.

1.5: CANCELLATION

1.5.1: DUE TO THE CUSTOMER

  • Cancellation of a reservation more than 8 days prior to the start of the service: a sum corresponding to 10% of the amounts paid will be retained by Salève Vol Libre as a deposit.
  • Cancellation of a reservation within 8 days prior to the start of the service: a sum corresponding to 50% of the amounts paid will be retained by Salève Vol Libre as a deposit.

1.5.2: DUE TO SCHOOL

Salève Vol Libre reserves the right to cancel or interrupt courses, particularly in cases of force majeure. Force majeure includes, but is not limited to, weather conditions that make paragliding dangerous or impossible.

  • In the event of force majeure: Salève Vol Libre will refund the amount you have paid.
  • In the absence of force majeure: Salève Vol Libre will refund the amount you have paid, plus compensation equal to that amount.

1.6: GIFT CARD

Salève Vol Libre offers gift vouchers. All information regarding the purchase procedure and validity of gift vouchers is available on the website or at reception. Only information provided by Salève Vol Libre at the time of purchase is valid. Appointments for tandem flights and the registration procedure are subject to the same general terms and conditions of sale mentioned above for tandem or two-seater flights.
