Paragliding Course 2: Pilot's License

Improving Your Technique

Aiming for a paragliding pilot's license!

Now that you're on your own, the sky's the limit!

You have earned your initial certification in Level 1 and are now capable of flying independently at familiar sites in calm conditions. We encourage you to take advantage of this independence by practicing this type of flight as often as possible.
But be careful—don’t be fooled! In the afternoons and evenings on days with strong winds, many aerological hazards still await you. You will now need to work with your instructor to achieve the blue level of paragliding pilot!

Check out our Blue Level course:

To help you progress through the Blue Level, we offer three types of training:

Professional Development Days (Perf Days)

These are day trips designed to help you discover new sites. Each trip provides an opportunity for in-depth analysis—including flight planning and takeoff and landing preparation—and helps you become more independent in all phases of flight.
The morning offers a chance to practice new exercises in calm conditions, while the afternoon provides an opportunity to challenge yourself by searching for thermal conditions.

Evening flights

They will help you practice sharing airspace with other pilots, understanding right-of-way, and making your first soaring flights.

Travel

Our trips offer a true immersion in the world of free flight and provide an opportunity to gain practical experience in all the areas covered during our performance training days and evening flights—with the added bonus of a change of scenery!

Advanced Training Days and Evening Flights

The goal of these flying days or evenings is to explore new flying sites… By flying at new locations, you’ll validate and adapt your skills to meet the requirements of the Blue Level (independent takeoff and landing, piloting techniques in thermal turbulence), and enrich your flying experience so you can take the Pilot’s License exam!

Having an instructor fly alongside you to provide guidance will allow you to benefit from their experience and expertise on longer flights.

We've put together an attractive package to give you access to advanced training days and evening flights. You can purchase advanced training days or evening flights individually, or sign up for a "Carnet perf" course.

The “Carnet perf” course lets you convert 2 Advanced Training days into 4 evening flights. You can therefore use it however you like, for example: 5 advanced training days (a savings of €100 compared to buying them individually) or
4 evening flights and 3 advanced training days (a savings of €180 compared to buying them individually)
